A very nice example from Atkin Guitars, the L36 is their take on the smaller-bodied guitars from the 30s.

Condition / Setup Notes

Excellent; This guitar was made new with factory distressed finish. This means there is finish checking all over, along with light surface wear. It’s possible some of the wear is from regular use, but it all blends in nicely with the theme, so it has been designated as being in excellent shape. There is just the slightest hints of fret wear forming. Currently playing nicely, with string height about 5/64”-4/64” from bass to treble, with light relief in the neck.

It’s easy to understand the popularity of Atkin guitars with their well-made takes on older American guitars. Being part of the Black Pearl series, this one is particularly eye-catching, with the pearloid accents contrasting nicely with the black lacquer. Lightweight, resonant, and a pleasant playing experience overall.
