Tomás Fiore Classical Cutaway Brazilian
2026 Tomás Fiore Classical Cutaway Brazilian
A very nice cutaway classical / crossover nylon string from luthier Tomás Fiore in Argentina. Contemporary stylings meet classic design, like the Stauffer style adjustable neck painted black. And of course, a beautifully straight-grained set of Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides.

***
The guitar is a blend of contemporary and traditional, and of Viennese and Spanish. It all culminates in a unique guitar with a satisfying and versatile sound, and welcome functionality in the adjustable neck (string height is adjustable quickly under tension) and arm bevel. The materials are quite nice also, with a straight-grained and attractively variegated set of Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides, and a European spruce top with generous silking. For amplification, there is a MiSi under saddle pickup, which features a rechargeable battery system that eliminates the need for 9V batteries. A great example of Tomás’s work, which is not readily available in the US.
