Condition / Setup Notes

Very Good; For its many years, it remains in very nice shape, but it has expected play wear and handling wear throughout, mostly in the top. The is a very short surface crack in the side, upper bout; but the sides of this guitar are layered (with what looks like maple) so structurally there is no issue, and is stable. The string path has been well maintained, with no fret wear and a clean ebony fretboard. String height is currently about 3.5mm to 2.75mm from bass to treble, with light/moderate relief in the neck, playing nicely. There is large margin for adjustment, and a lower saddle is also included.

***

A beautiful guitar from the workshop of Fratelli Lodi, with a refined and satisfying sound quality. Regarded highly for their study and understanding of historical significant instruments, the Lieuteria Lodi continues today still under the supervision of Gabriele Lodi.
