This is a lovely concert classical guitar from the workshop of Valerio Licari. There have been a few creature comforts added to this one, including an armrest and tastefully done wooden strap pins. It’s also a quite recent example, from 2024.

Condition / Setup Notes
The guitar is overall in excellent shape with only light play wear typical of delicate finishes. The wear is largely inconspicuous without looking in raking light. The last photos show samples of top wear. There are light marks also in the back of the neck and some in the body, but again all typical and it presents fairly cleanly. String height is currently about 3.5mm-2.5mm from bass to treble, and playing nicely.

A very nice, and quite recent example of Valerio Licari’s work. The added armrest is quite welcome, and for those who prefer the ergonomics of standing while playing, the added strap pins will be good to have. The bracing is a five bar design borrowing from the traditions of Montero and Bouchet, and the rosette is of a beautiful architectural design, drawing inspiration from the Pantheon in Rome. The full package in terms of sound, playability, and aesthetics.
