A very nice cutaway classical / crossover nylon string from luthier Tomás Fiore in Argentina. Contemporary stylings meet classic design, like the Stauffer style adjustable neck painted black. And of course, a beautifully straight-grained set of Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides.

Specs / Measurements

  • 2026

  • European Spruce / Brazilian Rosewood

  • Maple neck

  • ~49.85mm nut

  • ~650mm string length

  • ~56.59mm string spacing at saddle

  • French polished shellac finish

  • Arm bevel

  • Twelve-hole tie block

  • Gotoh Premium tuners

  • MiSi under saddle pickup, with charger

  • Original hard case, neck adjustment key

Condition / Setup Notes

New; The guitar is new, and has never been owned, but it’s possible there is the lightest handling wear from demos or photography in the light finish. String height is currently about 2.5mm to 2mm from bass to treble, but easily adjustable with the included clock key.

Additional Thoughts

The guitar is a blend of contemporary and traditional, and of Viennese and Spanish. It all culminates in a unique guitar with a satisfying and versatile sound, and welcome functionality in the adjustable neck (string height is adjustable quickly under tension) and arm bevel. The materials are quite nice also, with a straight-grained and attractively variegated set of Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides, and a European spruce top with generous silking. For amplification, there is a MiSi under saddle pickup, which features a rechargeable battery system that eliminates the need for 9V batteries. A great example of Tomás’s work, which is not readily available in the US.
