Annette Stephany Classical
Annette Stephany · 2017
A nice classical guitar from German builder Annette Stephany. Notably lightweight, and with attractive birdseye figure in the back.
Specs / Measurements
2017
Alpine spruce / Birdseye maple
~51.79mm nut
~650 string length
~57.62mm string spacing at saddle
French polish
Alessi tuners with snakewood knobs
TKL tweed arched top hard case, COA
Condition / Setup Notes
Excellent; The guitar remains in great shape and retains its overall luster. There is a string mark below the bridge at the first string, and some finish wear on the heel. There are also some sections in the neck that the finish has whitened in the pores. There is little to not otherwise. String height currently around 3.5mm to 3mm from bass to treble, and playing nicely. Just light relief in the neck.
Additional Thoughts
This guitar is of Stephany’s own design, inspired by a 1906 Enrique Garcia and 1910 Manuel Ramirez that she studied, both owned by her mentor Lorenzo Frignani. Notably lightweight and a pleasure to play.
