2025 Westville Solar
A very recent, and very nice example of the Westville archtop, made in Japan. This is a Solar model, fully hollow with carved top and back, and unique in that the sides are routed of a solid piece of maple.

Excellent(+); Reflective of its year it remains basically in new shape, as it largely spent its time inside the case. Currently set up with string height about 4/64” to 3/64” from bass to treble, with just a touch of relief. Playing nicely.

A beautiful example of the popular Westville archtop, in an eye-catching black burst. The Solar is one of my favorite models in the lineup in that it retains a compact 14.8” body, while being a fully hollow and carved guitar. Distinctive in its looks, and distinguished by its sound and playability, Westville is played by a number of professionals including Kurt Rosenwinkle.
