Victor Baker Ergonomic Archtop

2018 Victor Baker Ergonomic Archtop

A very cool guitar. Its shape props the neck to a comfortable angle, and the bevels make it nice to hold. A fully hollow and solid carved archtop, with a set-in Kent Armstrong humbucker.

Condition / Setup Notes

Very Good; The guitar displays light honest wear throughout, for a guitar that’s been played. Still, considering its thin satin finish, its worn very well and overall presents nicely. In addition to general wear, there are some spots of lifting finish as pictured. Currently set up with string height about 4/64”-3/64”, but of course easily adjustable with this type of bridge. Just a touch of relief.

***

A lot of cool things come together here. In addition to cutting an unorthodox figure, it’s a fully hollow guitar with both an arched top and back. The body is comfortable to hold, which is aided by the bevels, and it pitches the neck in a way that feels refreshingly nice on the left hand. While it produces enough volume unplugged, it shines when amplified and makes a satisfying sound. A guitar that needs to be experienced for the full effect.
