Consistently great guitars, here’s a Sadowsky SS-15 archtop. The compact size along with the shorter scale makes this an appealing choice. The thin rims are especially nice, and this particular one has nice figuring in the maple plates. The SS-15 from this era also had fancier purfling, most notably on the sides.

Excellent(-); The guitar remains in very clean shape overall, with the exception of a few areas of isolated wear. There is an impression in the top, and a corner of the headstock that is missing some paint. The frets are looking great, and it’s currently set up with low string height with plain 10s.

Sadowsky archtops are beautifully made and designed guitars, and the SS-15 with its short scale and thin rims is perhaps my favorite in the line up. Sadowsky archtops are known for their consistency, and this is another great example.
