2008 Ibanez George Benson GB30th Limited Edition

An exceedingly rare Ibanez GB30th, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the GB models. Only 30 were made, with only 16 of those for the USA that were more personalized. Dare I say it is breathtaking with its Japanese gold foil garahaku finish.

Condition / Setup Notes

Excellent(+); In extremely clean shape, minimal wear, if any at all. The slightest of tarnishing on one of the pickup covers. As one may expect, this guitar seems to have spent the majority of its life in the case.

Mesmerizing to look at, the garahaku is just incredible. The textures play with the light in ways that reveal so much detail. This one is also special in that it comes with a plaque showing George Benson holding this exact guitar, documented with serial number, reserved for the 16 released in the USA. Other examples came with a plaque, but only with a picture of George Benson holding one of the guitars, and not matched with serial number or direct statement that he is holding the exact guitar in the portrait. Also has case candy, original tags, GB strap, and signature picks. This one has it all, and is complete and in what I would call collector condition. A rarity for the dedicated George Benson fan.
