Excellent(-) / Very Good(+); The guitar overall retains is luster and is in very nice shape with minimal / hardly any wear aside from isolated areas. The floating pickup was broken in transit, and removed from the pickguard. It is included although function isn’t guaranteed. There is some finish touch up visible in raking light on the headstock by the tuner washers. Some crackling of finish around the back of headstock. Currently set up with string height about 5/64” to 4/64” and just a touch of relief.
***
This red Tessa Nova is a thing of beauty, and a nice sounding acoustic archtop. It was made as part of the “Red Guitar Collection” featured at the Montreal Guitar Show in 2009, and it looks as no expense was spared in sourcing the materials. The quilted maple stands out. The pickup unfortunately was broken during shipping, and removed from the pickguard, but it was made as an acoustic guitar and its voice satisfies unplugged. The clean aesthetic will be pleasing to some, with no fingerboard inlay or binding on the body. Very nicely carved, with top and back recurve you can see in the pictures.
