***
This guitar is a delight in so many ways. The diminutive size and 640mm string length make it so nice to hold and play. The woods are beautifully colored and grained. While to see it and to have it in hand tells everything you need to know, the history of the materials adds to its uniqueness and feeling. The German spruce top is 100 years old, and the Brazilian rosewood was salvaged from a desk made in the 18th / 19th century. The Spanish cedar used for the neck came from a Gold Rush era bar top with bullet holes in it. You can read more about it here. An irresistible little package, one that you might crack open the case just to look at.
