D’Aquisto Centura 17” Archtop
2007 D’Aquisto Centura 17” Archtop
In the 2000s Aria revived the D’Aquisto name and produced a series of archtops after his designs. This one is a Centura, a fully acoustic guitar with a solid top. These came stock as acoustic instruments, and a floating Kent Armstrong PAF-0 has been installed.

Excellent(+); minimal wear to be found, if any. There’s a slight shadow left in the top from where the bridge must have been for a long time. The string height is currently about 4/64”-3/64” from bass to treble with a little relief, round wound 13s. The guitar is playing nicely, and in beautiful shape. The Kent Armstrong floating pickup has been added to the guitar.
***
There’s so much appeal to the designs of D’Aquisto, that it’s nice to have accessibly-priced guitars with the same modern looks and features as the originals. These were sold as purely acoustic guitars, but many will probably appreciate this one’s capability to be plugged in with a Kent Armstrong PAF-0. Also complete with paperwork and branded hard case, all in very nice condition.
