Super sparkle! If you’re a sucker for a good sparkle, this one has huge flakes and a beautiful color. This is the flagship model of the brand, and made during the time they were a small custom shop specializing in bolt-on neck guitars.

Excellent(+), Especially in considering its age, it’s in extremely clean shape. The finish also makes it difficult to spot anything. There is only the lightest of fret wear. The case straps have come undone, although the case itself is working solidly. Currently set up nicely with a low string height of about 4/64”-3.5/64” from bass to treble, and a touch of relief.

These original Aircraft guitars are great S-style guitars. This one has a midboost circuit, which makes for a meatier single coil sound. High quality components throughout, including Sperzel locking tuners, and Wilkinson trem. Birdseye maple neck is beautifully figured. Even the logo inlay is nice, and is made of vivid abalone. Of course the sparkle finish is very nicely done, with big shiny flakes and a nice color.
