Condition / Setup Notes
The guitar remains in very good condition for its age. It retains its overall luster but has scattered wear, most of which is light and not apparent without raking light. There are some dings in the top, and a section by the tail with a chip in the binding. Ding in the back of neck. Most notably, in the tail section itself there are some flaws in the finish, including some roughness along the binding, and a crack in the finish. It’s possible there was a light impact there in the past, but there is no issue to its stability and there is no distortion or misshaping of the material; only superficial. Light fret wear in the lower positions under the E and B strings. Very comfortable setup with string height about 5/64”- 4/64” from bass to treble, with just a touch of relief.

A very nice guitar, with a deep resonance and big sound. It’s a pleasure to both play and look at. The koa is a very nicely figured, and its extensive use on this guitar creates a unifying theme. Modern design with a modern sound.
