Condition Guide
DRAFT ONLY - do not use
Condition notes for instruments here start with a general overall designation ranging from “Excellent+” to “Good-”. Any noteworthy specifics will be detailed in the listing, but it’s possible every single discernible surface/finish flaw does not get specifically mentioned or photographed. This may include impressions, dings, scratches, scuffs, minor finish checks, and any other wear that is typical of a used instrument.
Excellent (+/-): Limited discernible wear.
Very Good (+/-): Overall feeling of wear.
Good (+/-): Issues potentially impacting use, along with heavier wear or extensive repair.
In applying these descriptions, age and rarity are taken into consideration. Pretty much all instruments here will be in Excellent / Very Good condition. All instruments are structurally stable and in good playing order unless otherwise described. The best efforts are made to provide an accurate assessment of instruments but if you require a greater amount of detail, please feel free to get in touch.
